‘Shooting Blind’ follows the England Blind Football Team as they train in preperation for the World Cup in August. The 5-a-side team is made of up four completely blind players, and one sighted goal keeper. The film explores the dynamics of the game, following the team through their training and right up to the last friendly of the season - England vs Germany.

With some players blind since birth, and others only losing their sight in the last year, the team is made up of vastly different players. From Teachers to Masters students, the team are all unified by their blindness and their desire to lift the World Cup before the year is out.

‘Shooting Blind’ shows not only how the game is played, but the impact of the sport, the passions of the players, and the tactics of a team.
